We desperately need jobs in South Africa
Finding employment here in South Africa is a massive problem. We have over 25% of our population unemployed and with no income. STATSSA have created a new category for their 2011 census called "Discourages Work Seeker". Our government and our President keep on TALKING about it and nothing is happening. There are businesses closing down or downsizing putting more people out into the job market.
I can across this sickening article this morning.

I can across this sickening article this morning.
Man cut his own throat
"Ngcobo’s aunt Thembi Ngcobo said that her nephew, who had a three-month old son, was desperate to find a job."
"Approximately 15 600 applicants took part in the fitness test in the hopes of securing one of the 90 available trainee posts."
A while ago I played the organ for a funeral service. It was for an employed man who was depressed and took his own life. His wife and kids sat in the front pew bewildered. What have they done to deserve this?
I have been developing a web site called finda.job that hopefully will help to bring job seekers and employers together. I am hoping it will be ready later today on this blogspot. Come back later and check it out.
